Fractionally Spaced Coherent Detection with DF MAP Estimation of Statistically Known Time-Varying Rayleigh Fading Channel

چکیده
Coherent symbol by symbol detection using fractionally spaced samples in a time-varying frequency at Rayleigh fading channel is presented. The proposed detector incorporates a decision feedback (DF) maximum a posteriori (MAP) channel estimator that can be applied to a timevarying at Rayleigh fading channel with an arbitrary but known spaced-time correlation function. The best achievable bit error rate performance for this detector is obtained by assuming correct bit decisions while performing channel estimation. Di erential encoding is used in order to prevent the phase reversal phenomenon during the estimator's operation in a decision directed mode. Numerical results suggest that with only a few samples per symbol and with a short memory estimator depth, most of the gain due to oversampling can be achieved.

BER Performance of Single-Carrier transmission with Frequency-domain Equalization in A Channel Having Fractionally Spaced Time Delays
Recently, single-carrier transmission with frequencydomain equalization (SC-FDE) is attracting attention since the good transmission performance is achieved in a severe frequency-selective fading channel. Most of studies on SC-FDE assumed a propagation channel having sample-spaced time delays. However, the real propagation channel has fractionally spaced time delays. Under such an environment, ...

in this paper we focus on the tracking performance of incremental adaptive LMS algorithm in an adaptive network. For this reason we consider the unknown weight vector to be a time varying sequence. First we analyze the performance of network in tracking a time varying weight vector and then we explain the estimation of Rayleigh fading channel through a random walk model. Closed form relations a...

متن کاملTime-Varying Frequency Fading Channel Tracking In OFDM-PLNC System, Using Kalman Filter
Physical-layer network coding (PLNC) has the ability to drastically improve the throughput of multi-source wireless communication systems. In this paper, we focus on the problem of channel tracking in a Decode-and-Forward (DF) OFDM PLNC system. We proposed a Kalman Filter-based algorithm for tracking the frequency/time fading channel in this system. Tracking of the channel is performed in the t...
